The film was good but it doesn't go into as much detail on some things as the film and they had to make the character of Ayla older as well. The adventures of Ayla and Jondalar really get you involved in their travels.You still have Shelters of Stone and the Land of Painted Caves as well.I adore Jean Auel. It is too bad about her passing.
