Christmas Countdown: I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
This is one of those songs that you have always known all the words to. It's on every Christmas Greatest Hits CD going and I was lucky enough to see Roy Woods performing it as the support act when I went to see Status Quo a few years back.

Possibly my favourite xmas song, certainly the favourite of my little childhood self.
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, that bit at the end with the kids singing as it fades? When I worked in the jobcentre and we played xmas tunes in the run up to xmas, I would tell everyone I saw that my mate Jane on reception was the girl singing at the end. Everyone believed me! Haha
