Wreck This Journal: White Things

Here's a quick update on my Wreck This Journal as it's been two months since I shared it, funnily enough, this is the same page that I shared last time.

When I last shared the White Things page, my Mum suggested that I might like to stick a doily to the page. I agreed that sounded like a good idea, so while I was in Wales, she let me have one which I've added to the page.

Before:

Now:

Okay, so it's not a huge difference, but it's a step in the right direction.

I'm going to knit or crochet a little bit of white wool as well to stick in at some point. Plus with winter fast approaching, I'm sure I'll be able to get some snowflakes or white paper chains to add too.

Wreck This Journal: White Things

I'm finding the COVER THIS PAGE WITH WHITE THINGS page quite tricky. You don't often find things that are pure white and sometimes the white things that you find are more suitable for other pages in this journal, like the white round number 59 sticker that I found and had a slightly dilemma about which page it was best suited for.

There's the added hassle that there are a lot of white things that don't stay white for very long. Take flowers for instance, white petals might be white for a while but then they go brown, at which point they don't really have a place on a 'white things' page.

Luckily the petals that were scattered across the tables at my cousin's wedding are not organic and being artificial they've stayed white. This makes them perfect for this page, but also highlights another problem with this page.

It can be a bit tricky to get a decent photo of a page of something white.

I've been struggling with this page because I'm finding it hard to find things that are plain white and so I'm torn between just keeping on with it or perhaps sticking in the odd white thing with other colours on it. On the one hand, I know that this book is all about interpreting the instructions in your own way, but on the other hand, I think there's something cool about turning the entire page white.

Hopefully I'll find some more white things to stick in here over the next few months so I have something more to share in the future.

Wreck This Journal: Freeze This Page

I'm still wrecking. I have slowed down a little bit on the wrecking front, since colouring in has kind of taken over as my go to evening destress recently. I've also developed a slight Frozen obsession. Seriously, there is no better way to destress, or prepare for the day ahead for that matter, than by playing 'Let It Go' at top volume and dancing around the living room. Or is that just me?
Okay, moving on…

Last time I shared my FIGURE OUT A WAY TO FREEZE THIS PAGE it had a pitiful five stickers on it:

I'm still slowly adding to this one. Last time I mentioned the fact that people online had decorated their versions of this page with Frozen characters. Well, part of me wanted to be totally unique, but the other part of me loves Frozen so I decided to just go with it. I've actually got a stack of Book People catalogues from Christmas to snip wintry-looking pictures and words so I'll be adding more to the page fairly soon.

As you can see, Anna, Elsa and Olaf have made an appearance now. I couldn't resist. And I wasn't sure about the polar bears, but they live in cold climates, so I figured they'd feel at home on this page.

The current plan is to keep adding to this page until it's all full and then stick it in the freezer (just to freeze it a little more). I'm not sure how well all the stuff I've stuck in will cope with that; we may be picking pictures of Elsa and Olaf out of our frozen peas for the rest of the year!

Wreck This Journal: Page of Good Thoughts

I'd originally planned to share a different page this week, one which is slightly harder to get a good photo of, but while I was flicked through the pages trying to find the one I wanted, I happened to stop on this one, the PAGE OF GOOD THOUGHTS.

This is one of those pages which I quite often forget about because I don't add to it as regularly as I do with some of the pages (like my Ws and Circles pages). But I love the idea of this page and someday, if I find a nice sturdy notebook, I think I might expand this page out into a whole book, because it's nice to have somewhere to collect things that make you smile.

For the longest time this page just had that Amazon note on it. It was from a spur of the moment gift that Mr Click decided to treat me to from Amazon. He had it packaged up as a gift and when it arrived I decided to make this my first 'good though'. Looking at it always makes me smile because you can really feel his enthusiasm for his gift in the comment.

The love heart beneath it is one of the table decorations from my cousin's wedding. I grabbed a couple of them with the intention of sticking them in here. I also have a picture of Bagpuss, I have no idea where that came from, but I love Bagpuss. I've got a cuddly one of my own who says 'It's rather nice to have a cuddle' which is a very good thought as far as I'm concerned.

All of the other little bits I've stuck in here came from my birthday, because that was just a whole day of good thoughts. I've got the tag from my in-laws' gift to me, some wrapping paper from my Mum's gift and a selection of the little flowers she drew on the envelope for my card. I stuck one of those on the front cover of the journal as well. Actually, I should share my front cover again soon since I've added to it in the last few weeks.

I should really just write some things that make me happy in here as well, perhaps make a note of nice things people say. I've actually thought of printing out some of the nice comments from my blog and sticking them in here too. Though on second thoughts, I get so many nice comments on here that I might need to save that one for when I expand into my Good Thoughts Notebook!

Wreck This Journal: Colour This Entire Page

My Wreck This Journal is a Keri Smith book which I picked up last year. I'm slowly working my way through it, doing the odd page here and there. Every page has an instruction for you to creatively destroy it; some you can do in a single sitting, others take a long more time. And the beauty of it is, it's entirely up to you how to interpret the instructions.

The COLOUR THIS ENTIRE PAGE was one that I turned to one night when I was sitting in bed, doing some casual wrecking. I'd already poked holes in a page a few before it and so I had my pens beside me.

I'd come across this page a couple of times before but hadn't yet decided what to do with it. My original idea (a sort of doodle pattern across the page with the bits in between the doodles coloured in) was dismissed as being too similar to my plans for another of the pages in this book. So this page lay waiting.

But I had my felt pens beside me. (Yes, I'm nearly thirty and I still have felt pens, I've had these ones long enough for them to say Woolworths on the packet and this page just about killed them).

I decided to colour in this page:

Knowing that my poor old felt pens wouldn't last the entire page, this became a bit of a labour of love, over the space of about ten days. I'd work my way through the packet, scribbling with one colour until it started to wear out and then I'd move onto the next one.

I love the camouflage effect it created. I avoided the darker colours (beyond dark blue and green) so it's pretty bright and it's all happy-feeling. It's become one of my favourite pages.

I suspect I might repeat this somewhere else in the book at some point. Maybe with geometric shapes or something instead of scribbles.

How would you tackle this page?

Wreck This Journal: Poke Holes In This Page

Are you visiting through the A to Z Challenge? Click here to see today’s post.

This is a page that I’ve not really done much with yet, aside from what the page actually instructs you to do. The page instruction just says POKE HOLES IN THIS PAGE USING A PENCIL. I spent a while trying to come up with a way to do that in an interesting way and I kind of drew a blank.

Then one night I was sitting in bed, flipping through some of the pages that I’d not had a go at yet and with a pack of colouring pens beside me, when I happened across this one. I didn’t really think too much about it and then decided to colour in the circles with random colours.

The randomness is kind of important here because normally I’d try to do some sort of pattern, but I literally just grabbed any old pens that came to hand. Then while the paper was still slightly damp from them I punched holes using a mechanical pencil.

Taken in bed right after I'd finished punching holes in things with a pencil.
It looked pretty cool when it was first done because I punched the holes through from the wrong side, so the page was raised in odd places when you looked at it.

Since then I’ve closed the book and they’ve gotten flattened down so it doesn’t look as good as it did. I also kind of want to do more to this page, but I’m not sure what yet. I’m thinking of maybe colouring it all in black so the coloured circles stand out more and then maybe punching through the holes again to open them up more.

How it's looking now, after the poked bits got squashed.
You might see this one again in the future…

Wreck This Journal: Leave This Page Blank On Purpose

Are you visiting in search of my A to Z Challenge post? It went up earlier on, click here to view it.

I've neglected my Wreck This Journal somewhat recently. Once I got caught up with my Finish This Book I spent most of the time that I'd usually spend on my Wreck This Journal doing the other book instead.

We've still been getting the usual junk mail that I'd cut bits out of for this book, but those cutting and sticking pages are starting to get a bit full so I'm turning my attention to the rather more destructive pages. Having said that, the page I'm sharing today was added to by cutting words out of a magazine.

I did share it back in August last year when it had a measly four 'blank's on it:

Since then I've been looking out for the word 'blank' in magazines and junk mail to carry on adding to this page and I've doubled the number of blanks on this page now:

Now I'll admit, only about two of those blanks were actually the word 'blank' most of them were 'blanket' and I snipped the last two letters off.

I'm not sure I'll ever get this page quite as full as some of the others I've been decorating in the same way; my Circles and Ws pages spring to mind here. I won't mind if I can just get twenty or so words stuck on here, it's kind of meant to be an ironic take on the instruction after all.

Wreck This Journal: Collect Fruit Stickers Here

It’s been a little while since I shared this page (back in September last year), to be honest, it’s the page I’ve done the most work on recently since for the last week or two I’ve been focusing on my Finish This Book instead (when I can) and I’ve also been knitting more on evenings as well. I can only do some many things, so my Wreck This Journal is being a little bit neglected.

I’m thinking I might start work on one of the pages that I’ve not tried before, rather than continuing with one of the pages I’ve already started. I think jumping into something new my kick start me into being a bit more creative with it, instead of returning to the same old pages time and time again.

How the page looked last time I shared it...
But anyway, this page has seen more action because I’ve been trying to eat healthier and this means taking fruit to work for my morning and afternoon snack. In the morning I’m eating fruit and jelly pots which don’t have stickers on, but in the afternoon I usually have a banana. Usually one in the bunch will have a sticker, which is why my COLLECT FRUIT STICKERS HERE page is starting to look like this:

... and how it looked on the 15th of March this year.
I usually just stick the stickers wherever I feel like it, but the banana ones seem to be grouping together down the left hand side.

We’ve been having apples at home as well, but surprisingly few of those have labels on them. It’s a little disappointing when you get a bag of fruit and you only get one sticker. Or perhaps that’s just for people like me who are obsessed with adding to their fruit stickers page.

I kind of wonder what my colleagues make of it, when they see me settle down in the canteen and start trying to peel a label off my banana, then root around in my bag for a few minutes and spend a few more trying to find the page to stick the label onto. It’s the sort of thing you’d do when you were little. I knew kids who had fruit stickers all over their lunch boxes (I didn’t, mine was a Care Bears one and I didn’t want to spoil the picture).

It’s kind of nice to have a visual way of seeing how much fruit you’re eating. I’m enjoying watching this page grow and I can’t wait until you can’t see any of the original page between the stickers. I’ve got a way to go until then though.

Wreck This Journal: Document Time Passing

I’ve been planning this page for ages and now that I’ve started work on it it’s become one of my favourites. I love it when you get an idea for something and then when you actually do it, it works the way you imagined it (this is the complete opposite to what normally happens for me, where I get a brilliant idea in my head then all attempts to replicated it fail).

For the DOCUMENT TIME PASSING page I didn’t really have an idea of what I was going to do. I’d seen some since ideas, like someone who drew a tree at different seasons. I did like that one and thought about doing my own version by taking photos of a scene on different days to get the same effect but I wanted to do something that I’d come up with, rather than pinching an idea from someone else.

I got the idea of this one after cutting out a bunch of years and dates for my page numbers page. It suddenly occurred to me that I could use these for the document time passing page, but held onto them until I figured out exactly what that would look like.

It turned out that this looked something like this:

The general idea is that it will be like an hourglass with all the 2014s & 2015s at the top and all the other years at the bottom, like they’re falling down from the top to the bottom. After all, hourglasses are used to measure passing time so an hourglass of years would obviously show time passing on a grander scale. I threw in the two clocks just to emphasise the time thing, since I’d cut them out of a magazine, I might as well stick them in somewhere.

I’m still going to carry on adding to it, just as soon as I’ve cut out some more years from junk mail and magazines. You’ll probably see this one again in the future because I kind of love it.

Wreck This Journal: Collect Stamps

The page I’m sharing today is one that I’ve kind of neglecting until just recently. In fact, I completely forgot that it was a page in here until around Christmas time. The instruction on this page is COLLECT THE STAMPS OFF OF ALL YOUR MAIL.

Part of the reason I’d forgotten about it was because I don’t really get much in the way of post. I get stuff from the hospital or bank and that’s always in a prepaid envelope so no stamp there, and I get a magazine on subscription which comes in a polythene envelope, nothing there either.

I conveniently remembered about this page in the run up to Christmas but it wasn’t until I dug out the envelopes we’d received with Christmas/anniversary cards in to cut the letters out of the addresses on the front to make a label for my Secret Santa gift (should I explain that one?) that I realised I should really grab some of those stamps for my book.

So I cut them off and stuck them in the pencil case where I keep my Wreck This Journal stuff and just last week I got out my glue to stick them all in. And this was the result:

I’m hoping to add to it in the future. Perhaps I’ll get some more stamps in the next couple of months when it’s my birthday. I’m sure I’ll get some cards then.

(Oh, and the label for my Secret Santa gift? To make it harder for my recipient to guess who their gift is from I make the gift label random note style by cutting letters out of other things, the previous year I used magazines, last year I used the envelopes addressed to us. Of course I’ve done this twice now so it’s fairly obvious who the gifts with the ransom note tags are from.)

Wreck This Journal: Write/Scribble on the edges

This is actually a page I did months and months ago. I think it was back around July, but I've just not gotten around to sharing the photographs, mainly because I've not been sure whether or not I'm going to add to the page (and also because I've not decorated the page that the instructions are on and I feel like I should really do that at some point as well).

The direction was to 'close the journal' then 'write/scribble on the edges'. People have tackled this in different ways; some have just coloured it in using rainbow colours, others have written things on the edges. I knew that I wanted to go for the latter option and it was just a question of what words I would write there.

You can tell how old these pictures are by how neat the journal still looks:

The quote is Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. It's been attributed to various people so I'm not sure exactly where it came from, but it really stuck with me.

I first read it shortly after we had to cancel our IVF cycle two years ago and I clung onto it because at that time things were most definitely not okay. And I'm still reminding myself of this quote whenever something crops up that makes me feel a little bit down. Since it's written on the edges of this book, which is a permanent feature in my bag, I see it every day.

And it's sort of fitting that I'm sharing this right now, because we're all set to give the IVF/ICSI another shot again in the coming months. There have been some big hiccoughs along the road to get to this point, but we're all ready again now. A month from now we will have been to Glasgow for our first lot of tests.

I'll let you know how it all goes.

Wreck This Journal: The Front Cover

I’ve neglected my Wreck This Journal and Finish This Book since before Christmas. In the run up to Christmas I seemed to be spending my time doing things like cross-stitch, making paper chains and doing Christmas doodles, so my other ‘interactive books’ were sort of set to one side and not really opened.

So I’m trying to get back on track with them, especially as I’ve also now got my The You & Me Book and my Q & A a Day book that I’m working on. And my journal. And my book journal. I’m beginning to suspect that I might have a bit of an obsession here.

But this is my attempt to start sharing my progress again, so we should go back to the beginning.

I knew when I got this book that it was unlikely that it was going to stay looking smooth and nice for very long. But I was kind of hesitant to actually get started. When a friend let me have some stickers, I decided to use those to spice up the cover a little bit, purely to pretty it up and make it a little bit easier to destroy further down the line.

And after being carried around in my bag daily for the last few months it’s starting to show it. The corners and edges are getting a little bit worn and creased now which somehow makes it a little easier to think about wrecking it more. If it’s already looking a bit ruined, it’ll make it easier to help it along on its way.

I quite like that you can see along the bottom edge how it's getting worn and that there are some dings to the spine. Normally I'd freak out a little about a book, or even a nice notebook, getting marks on it like this. I think I'm doing a pretty good job of wrecking this one even without following the wrecking instructions for a few weeks!

Wreck This Journal: Glue Random Items Here

I don’t think that I’ve shared this page here before, even if I have I think I’ve added way more things to it since I last photographed it.

The whole point of this page is basically to stick all the stuff to it that you can’t stick on any other page in the book. It’s kind of a catch all for all the things that you might like to put into the book, it does give some suggestions for places where you might find things which I’ve ignored so far.

I started off with the tag from my Russia World Cup top that I bought in the summer for a theme thing we did at work. Since then I’ve added the stickers from the front of my ‘blind date with a book’ books that I bought from our local bookshop (mainly because I wanted to remember what it was that drew me to those books). I’ve also added in a random slip of paper which I cut out and it reminded me of a jockey’s jersey so I stuck that in, along with the tag off my purse and the corner off of a notepad cover (which isn't stuck in yet but which was floating around in the bottom of by bag so I stuffed it in my Wreck This Journal).

This double page is the main reason why this Wreck This Journal doesn’t actually shut properly any more. I’m planning on adding more bulky things to this page in the future and who knows, maybe I will find something down the side of the sofa or out on the street which I can stick in as well.

Wreck This Journal: Fill This Page With Circles

I know that I’ve already shared this page before but I’ve added to it since then so I thought I’d let you have a glimpse of how it’s looking now. I’d originally intended for this week’s post to be about the Finish This Book page but I’ve not got a photo of it to hand, whereas it’s much easier to snap a photo of this one. Plus I’m working to a very tight schedule.

Last time I shared this page, here, it looked like this:

Anyway, since my last post I’ve branched out across another page so at one point it looked like this:

And I've recently added to it a little more:

I’d intended to try to keep the circles from overlapping to start off with but realised that the page wouldn’t get nearly as full as I wanted it to without letting some of the circles overlap occasionally.

I’ve still got quite a few circles to add to the page, they’re sitting in a pencil case as I type. As with everything else at the moment, NaNo has been pushing all my normal evening activities to the sidelines. Also my glue stick isn’t very good at the moment. Not all of these circles are very well stuck down!

Hopefully next time I share this page it’ll barely have any page left showing through between the circles.

Wreck This Journal: Add Your Own Page Numbers

I’ve been looking forward to showing off this page for ages because it’s a little bit like my W page and I’m quite proud of it. I think next to my W page this is probably my favourite.

The direction for this one is to quite simply add your own page numbers and it points to the bottom corner of the page with the instruction to ‘start here’. I guess that it could basically be telling you to number the pages, but just writing a number in the bottom corner of each page is a little boring.

It was with this page in mind that I started cutting out numbers from all of the junk mail that I received. I’d thought about just sticking random numbers on the bottom corners of each page in the book. In fact, that’s still something I might do because I’ve got a pencil case full of little scraps of paper with numbers on, then again, I’m still adding to this page occasionally so I might wait until this one is full before I start numbering any other pages.

I was fairly indiscriminate about cutting out numbers; I’ve got whole numbers, percentages, fractions, words written in numbers and words written in letters. I was going to sort them out into numerical order and then decided that would be ridiculous so just started sticking them in all the way round the page. And so it became the page you see today.

You see that number 39 in the centre of the O in ‘YOUR’. That actually gave me a bit of a dilemma. I forget where it came from but I couldn’t decide exactly where I should put it. It’s round, and I have a page for circles; it’s got white on it, and I’ve got a page for white things; it’s a sticker, and I’ve got a page for stickers; and it’s got a number on it, and as you can plainly see, I’ve got a page for that too.

A quick post on Facebook solved my problem, which is why I like my Facebook friends, they always have the right answers. A colleague reasoned that it wouldn’t necessarily look round when it was stuck on a page, it’s also technically black as well as white, and the sticky bit wouldn’t be obvious when it was attached to the page. Therefore the only place it could go is on the page numbers page.

How would you decorate this page? Or if you’ve got a copy of Wreck This Journal share how you wrecked it.

Wreck This Journal: Collected Quotes

I’ve always enjoyed collecting quotes, so it seemed natural that I would add some to my Wreck This Journal. One of them I wrote around the outside of the page edges which I’ll share at some point in the future. There are several pages within the book that I could’ve used to collect these but I’ve kind of made my own page for them.

That’s mainly because something that Mr Click bought came with a large sticky card with a quote on from Isaac Newton:

“If I have seen further than others,
it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants”
- Isaac Newton

It’s such a big card that I just stuck it onto the first blank page I came across, directly opposite the page that told me to write my name in a variety of different ways.

Then when I was chopping up a magazine (which I was using for Ws, numbers and bugs) I found another quote that I like:

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world”
Mahatma Gandhi

About ten years ago I wrote a poem about a character who was always giving out little bits of advice (which ended with “The whole world’s a stage, so don’t trip over the scenery.”) and that was one of the quotes that I used in it, so it got glued in just underneath my other quote.

I don’t really have much room for any other quotes on this page, but I’m sure I’ll squeeze them in elsewhere. There’s a page for things that make you happy so I’m sure some of my favourites will end up in there.

Oh, and when I was at Edinburgh Zoo the other week I got a lovely new notebook (made out of stone!) and pen which I’ve started adding quotes to. I’m actually planning on making up some cross stitch designs with them (like the old fashioned samplers but with more modern quotes on).

Do you collect favourite quotes? How do you record them?

Wreck This Journal: Freeze This Page

This is a page that I’ve not added a huge amount to yet, mainly because I got this book in the summer and I didn’t have much access to cold weather themed supplies. Now we’re heading towards Christmas I’m noticing a lot more references to ice and snow in magazines and catalogues, which lends itself nicely to this page.

The instruction on this page is to Figure out a way to freeze this page. And I planned to put it in the freezer for a day or so. Ice cold paper, frozen, job done.

Then I couldn’t help but stumble across a couple of pictures of this page people had done online. Several took advantage of Disney’s Frozen with Elsa or Olaf making things look chilly. And so that gave me the idea to do this:

A work colleague let me have a bunch of Christmassy stickers, so I started out ‘freezing’ my page by adding snowmen and snowflakes to it. It’s pretty plain at the moment but I’ve been collecting chilly sounding words and pictures ever since and I’m almost ready to start adding a bit more to the page.

I’m thinking I will freeze it anyway at some point in the future, just to see what happens. I’m a lot more blaze about tearing pages out of these books and sticking them back in again now. I don’t think tossing a decorated page into the freezer for a couple of days will bother me at all.

Wreck This Journal: Collect Dead Bugs Here

I know I said I was going to be brave when it came to wrecking my journal.

I know I said I was going to follow the instructions in the spirit in which they were intended.

I know I said I was going to do all the tasks on each page, even the ones I didn’t like the look of.

But I do draw the line at sticking dead bugs in a book I carry around with me every day. Especially considering there are still a couple of activities like tongue painting and chewing on a page that I’m yet to complete.

As a result of this I took a different approach to this page:

See, technically they are bugs. And they’re definitely not living ones. And the opposite of alive is dead.

Okay, I’m making excuses. I just didn’t want to stick dead bugs in my book.

Yet.

Wreck This Journal: Collect the Letter W Here

I’ve been so excited to share this page because it is definitely one of my favourites. I think this page is the one which helped me to come to terms with the general wreckingness of this book. I’m yet to do anything really truly destructive to this book, but this page helped me to start wrecking other things in order to get the ball rolling with this page.

This page seems quite innocent at first. The instruction is to ‘Collect the Letter W Here’. Now this sounds fairly innocent, you put the letter W all over the page. Easy.

Well, this kind of started an obsession for me. I started looking out for interesting Ws all over the place and have devoted HOURS to cutting them out of magazines, junk mail and random flyers I’ve picked up. I’ve actually taken free pamphlets home with me purely because they have an interesting W on the front cover.

You actually start looking at Ws on things you can't cut out and wondering how you can incorporate them into your W-ful page. Some people online had resorted to using letter Ms turned upside down, but it's not a problem I've had. Most adverts in magazines have a website address on them, so that's usually three Ws straight off.

Having stuck in a bunch of really big Ws I quickly started to run out of space so I've been cutting out really little Ws to fill in the big W on the page – with all the pages I’m trying to leave the instructions largely intact so you can still read what the page is supposed to be for. But even filling in the W with little ones didn’t help me with still finding bigger and better Ws but not having any room for them.

So I started on the facing page. I’ve got a little way to go before I fill in that page, though I’ve made a very good start to it.

Like most of the other pages in this book I’m just going to keep on working on this one, even after it looks like it’s done. You’ll probably see it again in the future when I’ve stuck in even more Ws and it might look much the same, just with fewer blank spaces, or it might look totally different. That’s one of the fun things about this book.

Wreck This Journal: Collect Fruit Stickers

I was hoping to have a few more photos of the progress of my 'Collect Fruit Stickers Here' page, but alas, I don't seem to have taken very many of them. I will start with these two then and hopefully in the future we will be able to look back and see all the progress that I have made with this page.

The aim of this page is fairly obvious, you know all those fruit stickers you get on your fruit. Well instead of throwing them in the bin or sticking them to your fridge/bedhead/pet/significant other, you stick them in here.

Can you guess which fruit we get most often?

To be fair, it's not just Pink Lady apples that we eat (and the occasional banana), lots of the fruit we get (like grapes) comes without stickers. Or we get in tins so they don't have any stickers.

As of Sunday 7th.
The above photo is how it's looking right now. There's a random 'Perlim' sticker there from one of the fruits I got at work during 'Fruity Friday'. I did resist the urge to pick off all the stickers and just took the one from the apple I ate.

In the centre I had the idea to make a sort of flower design using a banana sticker and then a bunch of Pink Lady ones. I intend to layer these up in the future, just have to buy more apples. Otherwise I'm not really sticking them in following any real order, I just pop them on the page where they seem best suited.

I have seen some interesting interpretations of this page. Most go down the same route as I have but I know I did once see one which someone had covered in actual fruit-shaped stickers. I have none of those so I have stuck to just stickers from the fruit (as advised by the note at the bottom of the page). I might stretch this to price stickers next time we stock up on tinned fruit.

I like that this is another of those pages which is constantly changing. It looks like this now, but in a few weeks or months time it could look completely different!
